This beutiful place we offer you has been built with effort, love and great care.
We kindly ask to all guests their collaboration in takning care of it avoiding thowing papers, cigarette butts or any other kind of objects in the park.

We kindly request as well collaboration for the best operation of the available devices and help to keep them in well functioning. Please let us know as soon as possible of any problem or break you may see in the cabins in order to fix them immediately.

We are happy to receive any kind of suggestions or comments that may allow us to improve the service we offer.

We thank you very much for having choose El Caserío and will always be waiting to see you again.

Keep in mind

El Caserío is situates at 1.978 Mts. above sea level. Therefore, it is important you remember the following  recommendtions to avoid feeling bad due to "apunamiento" effects.

> Don't eat too much nor very rich meals.
> Avoid physical efforts.
> When having a shower leave the window a little bit opened so you don't expose to abrupt temperature changes.
> Please, don't pretend that here, in the middle of the country, the house temperature has to be the same as in your cuty flat or house, switching on all heating devices and creating an asphyxiating environment.
> Please remember that our body requires aproximately 10 days to generate the enough amount of red corpuscles equivalent to the ones in a person that lives in the area.
> Wind strongly blowing from the North affects everybody, including local people. The atmospheric pressure goes down and the atmosphere is very dry making a strong difference between inside and outside the cabins that obliges to keep in mind what is mentioned above.
> The best medicine for the headaches is to drink "coca" tea or have an aspirine.
> If you are planning to travel through the Quebrada or Puna regions please jkeep in mind these recommendations and remember that the higher you go stronger are the symptoms of height sickness ("apunamiento").
> In the near village of Volcán there is a First Aid office to which you can go if needed. In tilcara, maimará and La Quiaca there are hospitals for major health problems.
